Summary
P1068s is a pilot substudy of the P1060 study and enrolled HIV-infected infants and children who had been enrolled in P1060. The primary objective was to compare parasitemia levels in HIV-infected infants and children on PI-based HAART (LPV/r-based HAART) versus parasitemia levels in HIV-infected infants and children on NNRTI-based HAART (NVP-based HAART).
